Description:
The Fort Ord Dunes State Park project creates a new, fully accessible campground and beach access area along Monterey Bay. Featuring 98 campsites across RV, tent, and hike-in loops, the project includes a community building, amphitheater, restrooms, utility infrastructure, restored native dune habitat, and interpretive trails. Designed with sustainability and accessibility at its core, this project transforms a former military site into a modern, inclusive destination for coastal recreation and education.
